we refer to the letter by the Plenipotentiary for the German Reich (of the SHAEF Legislator USA) of December 1, 1999, and our letter of January 11, 2000

Regardless of our request you have so far made no move to hand the object over to us, which, as you know, is the property of the Reichspost of the German Reich and of which at the moment the Deutsche Telekom AG is in charge.

We would like to point out that, if until February 29, 2000 the Deutsche Telekom AG will not hand us the right of disposal over the object, which has been leased to us with the confirmation of the SHAEF Legislator USA as our State Territory, you will be liable to pay a compensation of DEM 1’000’000,– (one million Deutschmark) per day as of March 1, 2000.
